Kasko ve Sigorta
Kasko ve sigortanın ne anlama geldiğini başımız sıkışmadığı sürece bilmeyiz. Tüketici ancak mağdur duruma düştüğü andan itibaren, haklarını aramaya başlar. Hatta çoğu kişi kasko yaptırırken, ne gibi hakları olduğunu bile bilmez. Önemli olan, fiyat avantajı ve aracın kağıt üzerinde güvenceye alınmış olmasıdır.
Peki çoğu zaman ne içerdiğini bile bilmeden her hangi bir sigorta şirketine yaptırdığımız kasko nedir? Tüketiciye neler kazandırır?
Kaskonun yasalar çerçevesindeki tanımını anlamak biraz güç. Sigorta ile sigortacı, sigortalının, karayolunda kullanılabilen motorlu, motorsuz (taşıtlar), römork veya karavanlar ile iş makinelerinden ve lastik tekerlekli traktörlerden doğan menfaatinin doğabilecek zararlar dolayısıyla ihlali sonucu uğrayacağı maddi zararları temin eder.
Kısacası araç sahibinin karayolunda aracına gelebilecek zararlardan dolayı aracını bir sigorta şirketi ile güvence altına almasıdır. Araca gelebilecek zararlar denildiğinde ise akla ilk olarak trafik kazaları, hırsızlık ve kötü niyetli hareketler gelir.
Daha açık bir tanımla kasko sigortası aracın yanması, çalınması, çalınmaya teşebbüs edilmesi veya kaza sonucu oluşabilecek zararları güvence altına alır isteğe bağlı bir sigorta türüdür
Kasko sigortası ekstra teminat primleri yatırılmadığı sürece Türkiye sınırları içinde geçerlidir. Fakat yurt dışı için hizmet veren sigorta şirketleri de bulunmaktadır.
